A section of U.S. Route 1/Capital Boulevard was down to one lane in Wake Forest following a crash involving a tractor-trailer Tuesday morning, Town of Wake Forest spokesman Bill Crabtree said.
Police responded to the crash in the vicinity of Harris Road around 8 a.m. and reduced the northbound lanes to one lane.
Drivers were advised to avoid the area and find an alternate route if possible.
Crabtree said there’s currently no word on injuries.
