RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — The Super Tuesday primary election is just around the corner and candidates will be spending time in North Carolina over the next few days as they compete for votes.
Independent Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, the frontrunner for the Democratic Party’s nomination, will be in Goldsboro for an event with Rev. William Barber on Wednesday and will hold a rally in Winston-Salem on Thursday.
Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar will be in Raleigh on Thursday and is set to hold a live FOX News town hall.
Former Vice President Joe Biden will travel to Raleigh for a community event on Saturday afternoon at St. Augustine’s University.
Former South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg will also visit Raleigh when he holds an event on Sunday.
On March 2, the day before North Carolina’s Super Tuesday primary, President Donald Trump has a rally planned in Charlotte. He has been holding rallies in primary states ahead of the Democratic Party’s primaries and caucuses.
