NC deputies: Animal neglect leads to 66 dogs seized from residence

NEW BERN, N.C. (WNCT) — Officials are conducting an investigation into animal neglect after seizing 66 dogs from a residence off Saints Delight Church Road on Thursday.

The Craven County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Craven-Pamlico Animal Services and the Colonial Capital Humane Society in seizing 66 dogs from a residence off Saints Delight Church Road on Thursday.

The investigation is ongoing and charges are pending.
