PALM HARBOR, Fla. (WFLA) – A sweet boy has been rescued by the Suncoast Animal League in Florida after suffering from “a severe state of emaciation.”

Chance currently only weighs 38 pounds and is about 2 years old.

Suncoast Animal League says Pasco County Animal Services reached out to them Tuesday to take Chance in after their owners surrendered him to their organization “due to extreme life circumstances.”

He is currently at the Suncoast Animal League office and the League will provide more information on foster updates on their Facebook page. But Chance is currently being under the watch of the league.
