Duke and UNC’s 2nd round games to air Sunday on CBS 17

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) No. 1 seeds Duke and North Carolina will play their second round matchups in the NCAA Tournament on CBS 17 on Sunday. 

No. 9 Washington will face North Carolina at 2:40 p.m. from Columbus, Ohio. The Tar Heels got by Iona in the first round, 88-73.

Washington topped Utah State 78-61.

At 5:15 p.m., Duke will play UCF with a matchup of college basketball giants. 

Blue Devil Zion Williamson will battle the 7-foot 6-inch tall Tacko Fall of the Golden Knights. 

Fall told ESPN of Williamson, I won’t allow him putting me on one of his highlight tapes. 

Duke started slow in their first round game against North Dakota State but exploded in the second half to win 85-62.

UCF beat No. 8 VCU 73-58.

Iowa and Tennessee will start the day on CBS 17 at 12:10 p.m. 

CBS 17′s Arran Anderson and Jeff Jones are with North Carolina and Duke as they play their way to Minneapolis.
