NC State football releases depth chart for season opener

N.C. State has released the depth chart for the Wolfpack’s season opener on Saturday against James Madison.

With no surprise, senior Ryan Finley will be under center with fellow senior Reggie Gallaspy in the backfield. 

Heritage High Schools’s Ricky Person and Southeast Raleigh High’s Tyler Baker-Williams are backing up Gallaspy. 

A towering receiving corp will start for the Pack. 

Junior Kelvin Harmon, who is listed at 6 foot 3 inches, will help lead the receivers, along with 6 foot 2 inch tall Stephen Louis. 

Quarterback turned wide receiver Jakobi Meyers is the third starter. He’s listed at 6 feet 2 inches tall.

Center Garrett Bradbury anchors the offensive line along with seniors Tyler Jones at left tackle and Terronne Prescod at left guard. 

Joshua Fedd-Jackson gets the start at right guard with Justin Witt starting at right tackle. 

Seniors Darian Roseboro and Eurndraus Bryant make up half the starting defensive line. Redshirt juniors Larrell Murchison and James Smith-Williams make up the other half. 

Redshirt freshman Isaiah Moore gets the nod to start at middle linebacker alongside Germaine Pratt. 

Dexter Wright will start for State at free safety while Jarius Morehead will start as strong safety. 

Kishawn Miller and Nick McCloud are starting cornerbacks. 

Freshman Christopher Dunn will be the placekicker while A.J. Cole III gets the start as punter. 

Kyle Bambard will handle kickoffs.
