RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) - Evan Edwards hit two of North Carolina State's three home runs, and the Wolfpack pulled away to beat Army 11-1 on Sunday in the NCAA Tournament.
Will Wilson also homered and both he and Edwards finished with three RBIs to help the top-seeded Wolfpack (42-17) earn a rematch with second-seeded Auburn in the championship round, with N.C. State needing two wins to advance to the super regionals.
N.C. State scored 10 runs during the final four innings, with Edwards hitting a two-run homer in the sixth and adding a solo shot in the ninth. Wilson's two-run homer came in the eighth.
Wilson gave the Wolfpack a 1-0 lead with his run-scoring sacrifice fly in the first.
Drake Titus scored the lone run for the fourth-seeded Black Knights (37-24) on a passed ball by catcher Patrick Bailey in the bottom of the sixth.
