Season opener will mark debut for new NCFC coach Dave Sarachan

CARY, N.C. (WNCN) – A new USL season begins for North Carolina FC March 9 when the reigning back-to-back league champion Louisville City come to Cary. 

That game will mark the debut for new head coach Dave Sarachan. He has decades of experience on the touchline that includes stops in the MLS and, most recently, interim coach of the United States Men’s National Team. 

CBS 17 spoke with Sarachan about the direction of the franchise, the importance of local players, and his favorite hip-hop stars. The entire segment can be seen during the Sunday Night Overtime show on March 3.
