Dewayne Washington resigned as Heritage’s football coach after a 12-2 finish last year — the best in program history. The Huskies promoted assistant Wallace Clark to the head gig about a week after.
Fast-forward to Friday and Heritage picked up its first win under Clark in a 50-8 pummeling of Panther Creek. Junior running back Trey Holloway led the way on offense. He had an 85-yard eruption for his second touchdown of the game.
