Friday was the 4th day in a row we’ve dealt with hazy smoke and air quality issues in central North Carolina, but we will finally see improvements this weekend.
Saturday will still be hazy with code yellow air quality conditions, but it could be the last day as winds will push the smoke out to sea and there won’t be as much haze Sunday in central North Carolina.
Once the smoke leaves this weekend, heat and humidity will start to return. Saturday will warm into the mid 80s, but humidity will still be comfortable.

Code yellow means that air quality could approach unhealthy levels, but most people should not have any health issues.
